Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes, from keeping you logged in to helping site owners understand how their site is used.

What cookies does this site use?

We keep cookie use to an absolute minimum:

  • Your cookie preference โ€” when you click Accept or Decline on our cookie banner, we store that choice in your browser's localStorage so we don't keep asking you. This is not a cookie in the traditional sense โ€” it does not leave your device and is not sent to our servers.
  • Cloudflare technical cookies โ€” this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set a small number of technical cookies for security, performance, and DDoS protection. These are operational and do not identify you personally. See Cloudflare's cookie policy for details.

Third-party cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site โ€” page views, general location, and device type. GA4 uses Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are denied by default until you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Decline, GA4 runs in cookieless mode only, with no cookies stored on your device. We do not use Facebook Pixel or any advertising/social media tracking scripts.

When you click an affiliate link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer may set their own cookies on your device as part of their operations. We have no control over these cookies. Please see the relevant retailer's cookie policy for details.

How to manage cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or get notified about cookies. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our cookie practices change. The date at the top reflects the last review.
